My name is David Velde and I am the founder of D&D Construction Inc., a company I recently created with my son Dominic who is on course to becoming a civil engineer. Formerly I was the president of DJS Construction, a company which I owned and managed for over 25 Years.

What Do We Do?

We are a full service construction company that also provides design and architectural services. If you want to expand your living quarters and don’t know where to start we can provide you with a free tentative floor plan and a detailed estimate of cost based on your needs and a maximum square footage allowed by the village zoning ordinance. Our proposal will include the architectural fee which includes creating the drawings and expediting the permit. Our goal is to help you understand the process and the the load off you without having to spend a dime, eliminating prematurely having an architect create drawings that may not fit your budget.

We are also exterior home specialists that have been servicing the Chicago area and surrounding suburbs for the last 25 years, installing new roofs, windows, wood and composite porches, decks, and siding using the best material available. Our carpenters and tradesmen are all seasoned professionals that take pride in their work. Our motto is unconditional quality craftsmanship on every job we perform. Our hope is to cross paths with you as we bring your home ideas and dreams to life. Whether it’s building your dream home or simply updating your kitchen or bathroom we aim to make your experience pleasurable with the least amount of inconvenience possible.
